Zot Trot Reverse Triathlon & 5K

This year, previous years, and in the future, we offer the following race options:

• Individual Reverse triathlon – 3 mile run, 12 mile bike, 250 yard swim

• Relay Reverse triathlon – Complete the above courses with 1 or 2 of your close friends!

• 5K – Participants will complete the run portion of the triathlon course; starts at 7:15am

Zot Trot is the yearly fundraiser for the Triathlon Club @ UCI. Come out and support us! Proceeds benefit the team for training equipment, coaching, travel costs, and other club expenses.

Many of Orange County’s top amateur and professional triathletes participate in the UCI Zot Trot as well as athletes from schools throughout the West Coast Collegiate Triathlon Conference (WCCTC) and local youths from the Irvine Unified School District and other regional schools. Last year’s event featured top athletes from UCSD, UCLA, Cal, Stanford, Cal Poly, UCSD and more.

As a young team participating in a relatively new sport, we look forward to building this program into a local and national competitor and helping to further the sport of triathlon. 

We encourage those not interested in triathlon to sign up for our Zot Trot 5K Run, held on the same day. It’s a fun event for family, friends, and community supporters. Register now and help our team further this great sport of triathlon and raise awareness for healthier hearts everywhere.
